About Me…
I'm a registered psychologist in Melbourne. I work with people who are already good and want to be better.
I've been at high level myself. I ran track and played squash at a high level, then an accidental pivot into competitive esports (before it was even a thing on people’s radar). My main career started in sales, which is its own unique performance environment and a very fast education in what actually persuades people. I studied a lot, and always pursued my interests in world affairs, psychology, and studied abroad.
What I do as a psychologist is give people the language to understand themselves, build systems around them that survive contact with real pressure, and work from their genuine strengths instead of the generic ones. I think in systems, and I'm comfortable a long way up in the abstract, but the abstract isn't the point. The point is whether anything actually changed.
Most people I work with don't need more information. They need someone who can see the pattern they're inside and help them build something better. That's the work I enjoy.
I currently work with leaders, advise on psychology-based tech products, and with some junior athletes looking to get a head start on their mental game.
